This LinksTek X540T2 Dual 10GbE RJ45 Ports Converged Ethernet Adapter will simplify Desktop PCs, Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Data Centers network migration to 10GbE for Storage, Virtualization, Gaming, 8K HD Video Streaming. Works with legacy Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switches and Cat 6A. Provide efficient 10GbE network and reliable RJ-45 connectivityfor distances up to 100 meters with cable 6A. Simplified installing ethernet adapter into a server and the auto-negotiation network speed between 1GbE and 10 GbE.Fully supports Intel Virtualization Technology for Connectivity. Support On-chip QoS and Traffic Management; Support Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP); Support Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq); Support PCI-SIG SR-IOV; Support Intel Data Direct I/O Technology; Support Intelligent Offloads. The FPP allow servers using SR-IOV function. The QoS functionality that can be used in both virtual and non-virtual servers. Unified Networking solutions combined the traffic of multiple data center networks like LAN and SAN. Users can choose NFS, iSCSI, or FCoE to carry both network and storage traffic at speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It is a reliable method of connecting servers to iSCSI SANs. The Open-FCoE architecture uses a combination of FCoE initiators in Windows and Linux operating systems and in the VMware ESXi hypervisor to deliver high-performance FCoE 10 GbE ethernet. The adapter is designed to fully offload the FCoE data path to deliver full-featured converged network adapter function.
