For better fix the socket into the hole, we suggest drilling four 0.6" x 0.6" (15 x 15mm) small holes depth 0.18" (4.5mm) on the hole, or fabricating a 10" x 4.33" (256 x 110mm) counterbored hole depth 0.18" (4.5mm). Tips: If you use 4.92ft (1.5 meters) male to female cable to plug into the HDMI outlet, the wire gauge should be 28 AWG. 16.4-32.8ft long cable (5-10 meters) - 26 AWG wire 32.8-39.4ft long cable (10-12 meters) - 24 AWG wire 39.4-49.2ft long cable (12-15 meters) - 22 AWG wire If the cable length is longer than 50ft, we suggest you to use a HDMI signal amplifier to increase the signal strength.
