Product description
This single port serial-to-IP converter enables remote control of different RS232 devices over an IP network. It's highly customizable with a Windows-based Device Server Manager (DSM) for creating virtual COM ports, facilitating seamless migration of existing serial applications. The converter's compact design (1.8x1x3.2in) and robust full-metal enclosure make it ideal for harsh environments where space is at a premium. It includes all necessary hardware for wall and DIN rail mounting. The converter features a single RJ45 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, supports Telnet Server (RFC2217), TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP protocols, and includes a universal power adapter. Supports Level-4 ESD protection (15kV air/8kV contact) and can supply 5VDC over pin 9 if required.
