SANGEAN PR-D17 was designed with special consideration for visual impairment. Practical voice prompts over large yellow high contrast rotary control knobs and preset buttons with raised symbols have been thoughtful implemented keeping the operation on PR-D17 simple and intuitive. Each button pressed is followed by an voice prompt to guide the user through each step of the way such as station browsing, alarm clock setting, radio station information, time and other settings.

The built-in 200mm AM Ferrite bar Antenna offers the best AM reception along with an external adjustable FM telescopic antenna. The auto-scan function goes through stations and keep track of your favorites up to 10 station presets (5 AM/5 FM).
Adjustable Alarm and Sleep Timer
PR-D17 features an alarm timer that wakes you up to the radio or a buzzer. The buzzer option also includes HWS (Humane Waking System) that starts with a soft low volume that gradually increases. A sleep timer comes in handy to shut down after getting you into your dream land!
