Product description
The new Rokinon 16mm T2.6 Full Frame Cine Wide Angle Lens is position in between Rokinon's 14mm T3.1 and its 20mm T1.9 lenses. It is a faster, super wide angle lens with shallower depth of field capability than the Rokinon 14mm T3.1. The 16mm angle of view is commonly used for wide-angled emotional scenes in film and videos. Along with the existing 14mm, 20mm and 24mm Cine DS focal lengths, this new lens will allow for subtle changes in the angle of view of scenes filmed with sensors ranging up to Full Frame. The lens is constructed of 14 elements in 11 groups featuring 2 aspherical, 2 extra low dispersion and 2 high refractive index lenses. The glass is also ultra multi-coated (UMC) and the lens has a built-in hood. All combine to actively control aberrations, distortion, unnecessary light dispersion, are and ghost for high resolution results that the latest camera models can take advantage of.
