The JRHC Wireless Portable barcode scanner has multi-function to apply different situation
1) Scan Gun Mode: After scanning the code, The wireless barcode scanner will be sent to your computer immediately, the data will be saved on storage card automatically if there is no connection or signal, and it will be sent automatically if there is a signal. During the scanning process, you can scan for corrupted barcodes, such as collapsed, blurry, or partially missing, etc.
2) Collect Mode: Works as a data collector. In Collect mode, the collector stores all barcodes in local memory and transfer barcodes to the receiver after the collection finished. All barcodes are stored in order into the flash memory, data won't be lost even sudden power off happens. This function is mainly designed for barcodes single-used circumstances, such as scanning tracking number, serial codes, material codes.
3) Inventory Mode: is a simple statistical counting mode to record barcodes and their quantity. The collector can process up to 100,000 barcodes at a time, the maximum inventory quanity of individual barcodes is 100,000. One Scan on each barcode will add one quantity on the barcode, or you can input the quantity manually to change the quantity or add on.
Long Transmisson Range
Adopt advanced radio frequency wireless technology, singal penetrates walls, ceilings and floors more effectively. Compared to 2.4GHz wireless scanner, our scanner has the advantage of strong signal and long transmission distance.
The transmission distance in barrier free environment can reach up to 400m/492ft. The range is defined as the maximum straight-line distance where communication can exist between scanner and receiver in in an environment without any obstacles.
Actual wireless transmission distance will vary as a result of building materials, physical objects and obstacles, terrain. The more obstacles, the shorter the transmission distance.
The transmission distance in obstacles environment is less than 50m/164ft.
2 upload modes of the inventory scanner
Instant upload mode(Online)(Scan Gun Mode): upload barcode data to your computer device at the same time when scanning barcode.
Storage Mode(Offline): When you out of 2.4G wireless distance cover or your scanner power off, the barcode data will be saved on storage card. The data will be sent when you in the wireless distance limit or power on.
Offline Mode( COLLECT and INVENTORY mode):All scanned barcodes will be stored directly into the scanner's storage card, then when you need, you can upload barcode data to your computor.
