Ideal for wired mice, keyboards, USB hard drive, and more, the adapter connects a multitude of peripherals with its two USB-A data ports, USB-C data port, and micro/SD card slots. Data ports do not support charging or video output.
Requirements
To be fully compatible, the USB-C device support both USB-C PD 2.0 & higher protocol and DisplayPort over USB-C with Alt mode. Please refer to our compatibility list for model information.
Important Notes
USB-A ports do not support charging or CD readers, including Apple SuperDrive.
Supports one external display at a time or mirrored when both connected.
Connect one bus-powered device at a time.
USB-C charging feature supports devices with USB PD protocol 2.0 and higher.
The MagSafe 3 port on the MacBook Pro (16 inch, M1 Pro/Max, 2021) will charge up to 140W while the USB-C port will support 100W max. For faster charging, use MagSafe 3 port directly on computer.
