The Plugable USB2-MICRO-250X is a wired USB microscope camera for coins, soldering, electronics and close-up inspection. It works like a webcam: plug it into a USB data port, open a camera or viewer app, and select the microscope as the source. The included flexible arm stand and observation pad help steady the image, and the brightness wheel lets you adjust the built-in LED ring for clearer viewing. This microscope uses manual focus and magnification rather than a push-button zoom feature. Move the microscope closer to the subject and rotate the focus wheel to reach its two close-range focal points. On up-to-date systems you can use common camera apps like Photo Booth on macOS and the Camera app on Windows. USB-C iPads running iPadOS 17 or later can work with compatible apps such as CamX or USB Camera..
