  • Lifetime tech support through Sewell Direct Customer Support.
  • Allows you to send HDMI signals 60 Meters (approx. 200 feet) over Cat6 or Cat5e (Pure Copper Cat6 cable recommended)
  • Supports HDMI Input/output of 480i/p, 720p, 1080i/p at 24/50/60 Hz
  • The HD-Link is designed to work over a single cable only. It will not work over a network or through a router or switch. If you need network functionality then look at the HD-Link Pro or HD-Link Ctrl extenders.

Product description

Don't let the HDMI distance barrier hold you up. Use this extender to send your HDMI signal over a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable up to 175 ft (60M). How This Works: This kit comes as a pair, with one sender unit and one receiver unit. Simply connect the units together with one Cat5e/6 cable. Connect your HDMI cables from the sender and receiver units to their respective display or source device. Plug in the included power supplies. Your HDMI extension is now ready. Does the Type of Cat5e or Cat6 Cable You Use Matter? Since Cat5e/6 extenders (aka "Baluns") work differently than typical ethernet networks, the quality of the network cable you use really does matter. For example, Ethernet networks have corrective measures in place to help balance the data load and prevent packet loss, while point-to-point extenders like this don't have this option. That's why using Pure Copper cables (like our PureRun Cat6 cables) to overcome any potential attenuation issues is recommended.
