1. Need external power supply: when using, please make sure to use USB cable to power the switch.
2. In MST extended mode, HDMI-compatible single port output can reach 8K@30Hz, 4K@120Hz. Displayport single port output can reach 8K@30Hz, 4K@144Hz. Displayport and HDMI-compatible 2 ports can only reach 4K@60hz when output at the same time.
3. When the signal source input adopts Thunderbolt 3 USB C interface, DP and HDMI-Compatible output can only reach 4K.
4. MST mode of Apple system can only extend one screen (limited by iOS System).
5. The splitter does not include DP and HDMI-compatible cables, the cables need to be purchased separately!
If you would like to output 8K@30Hz ,4K@144Hz via our splitter in your displays,please make sure your source devices,your cable and your monitors can all support the resolution and refresh rate you need to output. And used under a single port.For reliability and compatibility, it is recommended to use a DP/HDMI compatible cable to directly connect the splitter, computer and monitor. This Displayport MST SST splitter is not suitable for any docking station and secondary conversion.
