This results in high precision, all metal lens adapters ready to be put to the test by industry pros and enthusiasts who want the best. The Exakta mount features a chrome plated brass mount designed to give you the smoothest connection. The mount on our adapter is a single bayonet with an internal flange which accommodates most Exakta lenses. Leaf springs are used to secure the lens on the adapter and reduces play even with the most worn bayonets. Infinity focus is possible with the built-in 1.4x optic. Our PRO adapter is compatible with a large selection of Canon EOS EF/EF-S mount cameras. We state “infinity focus allowed” because our adapters are designed to be universal which can prevent some lenses from focusing to infinity at the infinity mark. This is a manual adapter with no electronics please use M, AV, or TV mode to meter. If the camera does not release be sure to enable ‘shoot without lens’ in camera settings. The built-in optic may degrade the image quality due to adding an element never designed for that lens; as a result, this can cause soft focus, chromatic aberration, image artifacts, etc. If encountered, using a smaller f-stop will minimize these effects.
